 Rule ID

The code identifying the rule for which the details are to be retrieved in the multiline.

Rule Description

The description of the Rule ID.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the rule details are to be retrieved.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Customer #

The number identifying the customer of the Rule ID.

Customer Name

The customer name for whom the Rule ID is defined.

Contract #

The number identifying the contract of the Rule ID.

Pool ID

The number identifying the Pool ID of the Rule.

The system displays the following field in the “Rule Builder for Allocation Rules” multiline:

Rule ID

The unique number identifying the stock allocation rule.

Rule Description

The description of the Rule ID. Mandatory.

Request for

Use the drop-down list box to specify for whom the allocation rule is defined. Mandatory. The system lists the following values along with a blank value:

§  Customer – Select this option to indicate that the Rule ID is defined for the Customer.

§  Internal – Select this option to indicate that the Rule ID is defined for the internal.

§  Internal and Customer – Select this option to indicate that the Rule ID is defined for the internal and customer.

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the allocation rule is defined.

The system displays the following field in the “Rule Builder for Allocation Rules” multiline:

Part Description

The textual description of the part for which the allocation rule is defined.

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type for which the Rule ID is defined. The system lists the values “Component”, “Consumable”, “Expendable”, “Kit”, “Miscellaneous”, “Raw Material” and “Tool” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Part Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part category for which the Rule ID is defined. The system lists all the active quick codes defined for the quick code type ‘Part Category’ in the “Create Quick Code” activity of the “Part Administration” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Part Group

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part group for which the Rule ID is defined. The system lists all the active group codes defined for the purpose ‘Allocation Rules Definition’ in the “Create Part/Service Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Customer #

The number identifying the customer for whom the stock allocation rule is defined.

The system displays the following field in the “Rule Builder for Allocation Rules” multiline:

Customer Name

The customer name of the Rule ID.

Contract #

The number identifying the contract for which the allocation rule is defined.

Pool ID

The number identifying the pool for which the allocation rule is defined.

Stock Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the stock status of the part. The system lists all the stock status codes defined in the “Create User Defined Stock Status” activity of the “User Defined Stock Status” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

A/C Model #

The number identifying the Aircraft Model associated to the allocation rule.

A/C Reg #

The registration number of the Aircraft associated to the allocation rule.

The system displays the following fields:

Rule

Click the icon to define the parameters for the Rule ID. On click of the icon Allocation Rules pop-up appears.

Note: If the Rule parameters are defined, the icon will be displayed in green color. If the Rule parameters are not defined, then the icon will be displayed in grey color.

Rule Value

The concatenation of the rule parameter, relational operator and parameter value defined in the “Allocation Rule” pop-up.

For Example: Component TSN>500 AND (Component Condition = New OR Certificate Age (Years) >=5 )

Effective From

The date from which the Rule ID Is effective. Mandatory.

Effective To

The date up to which the Rule ID is effective.

Eff. Remarks

The remarks pertaining to the effectivity of the Rule ID.

Remarks

Any additional description of the Rule ID.

The system displays the following fields:

Created by

The name of the user who created the Rule ID.

Created Date

The date on which the Rule ID was created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the Rule ID.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the Rule ID was last modified.

Confirmed by

The name of the user who confirmed the Rule ID.

Confirmed Date

The date on which the Rule ID was confirmed.

User Defined Detail - 1

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user defined detail of the stock allocation rule. The system lists all ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type ‘User Defined Detail – 1’ in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Stock Maintenance” business component.

User Defined Detail - 2

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user defined detail of the stock allocation rule. The system lists all ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type ‘User Defined Detail – 2’ in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Stock Maintenance” business component.

Any additional information pertaining to the stock allocation rule.
