You can view the quantity of parts available in the shop for maintenance work due to a “Component Work Order” transaction. Tell me more.
Select the “View Quantities in Shop” link in the “Plan Material” page.
The “View Quantities in Shop” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for material planning. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Total Qty in Shop |
The total quantity of parts available in the shop for maintenance work due to “Component Work Order” transaction. |
Unallocated MR Qty |
The total quantity of parts unallocated across various material requests for the specified part number and stock status. |
The system displays the following fields in the “CWO Details” multiline:
Comp. Work Order # |
The number identifying the component work order based on which the material request is generated. |
Click the hyperlinked “Component Work Order #” to view the component work order details.
CWO Date |
The date on which the component work order was generated. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center. |
Part # |
The number identifying the requested part and the alternate part. |
Note: The alternate part number will be displayed only if the material requests allow alternate part number for the requested part number.
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Qty. |
The quantity of the part. |
Note: The “Quantity” for all the component work orders will be displayed as “1”.
Expected Return Date |
The expected return date of the part from the repair shop. |
Note: The system displays the “Expected Completion Date” of the component work order as the “Expected Return Date”.
Return Location |
The location to which the part must be returned. |
Return Warehouse |
The number identifying the warehouse where the part must be returned. |
Viewing quantities in shop – An overview
This page allows you to view the quantity of parts available in the shop for maintenance work due to a “Component Work Order” transaction. The system displays the stock quantity,
a) For all those component work orders that are not in “Cancelled”, “Closed” or “Pre Closed” status.
b) When the part is same as the requested part number. If they are not the same and the material request line allows alternate part numbers, then the CWO part should have the same prime part as the requested part.
c) If there exists multiple component work orders for same component ID, the system considers the CWO with last expected completion.
