Selecting repair order for maintaining repair shop correspondence details
This page allows you to search for a repair order for which the repair shop correspondence details must be recorded. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain Repair Shop Correspondence” link under the “Repair Order” business component.
The “Select Repair Order” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box:
Repair Order # |
The number identifying the repair order for which repair shop correspondence details must be recorded (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Select the “Maintain Repair Shop Correspondence” link displayed alongside, to record or modify the repair shop correspondence details.
To search for a repair order
Select the "Primary Search Criteria" tab to find the repair order for which you want to record shop correspondence.
And/Or
Select the "Advanced Search Criteria" tab to find the repair order for which you want to record shop correspondence.
Note: The system displays the details in the descending order of the repair order number and repair order date.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Repair Order # |
The number identifying the repair order. |
Repair Shop # |
The number identifying the repair shop. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part. |
Mfr. Part # |
The number provided by the manufacturer of the part. |
Serial # |
The number identifying the serial number of the part. |
ATA # |
The number identifying the ATA chapter. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component. |
Removed From Aircraft Regn # |
The aircraft from which the component is removed. |
RO Type |
The type of repair order, which could “Normal” or “Exchange”. |
Shop Job Type |
The shop job type of the repair order, such as Component, Piece Part and Facility. |
RO Category |
The category of the repair order. |
Customer # |
The identification number of the owner of the component, for which the repair order was created. |
Status |
The status of the repair order. |
User Status |
The user status of the repair order. |
Created By |
The ID of the user who created the repair order. |
Buyer Group |
The buyer group, which has procured the part. |
Repair Order Date |
The date on which the repair order is created. |
Reason |
Any additional details pertaining to the repair order. |
Planned Receipt Date |
The planned date on which the core part will be received from the repair shop. |
Actual Receipt Date |
The actual date on which the core part is received from the repair shop. |
Click the hyperlinked repair order number in the multiline, to record the repair shop correspondence details.

This page allows you to search for a repair order for which the repair shop correspondence details must be recorded. You can enter the repair order number directly or search for it based on the RO number, RO type, RO date, component number, repair shop number or part details. The repair order details, such as the repair order number, repair shop number, part number, component number, RO type, RO status, RO date and user status are displayed in the multiline based on the search criteria.
