Selecting formula for modification
This page allows you to select a formula for modification. If you know the formula ID you can directly enter it. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the formula ID, the status of the formula or the parameter to which the formula is associated. Details such as formula ID, formula description, formula content and the status of the formula are displayed.
Select the “Edit Formula” link under the “Formula Builder” business component.
The “Select Formula” page appears.
Enter the following field if you know the exact formula ID to be modified:

The identifier of the formula to be modified (Alphanumeric, 15). |
Select the “Edit Formula” link provided alongside to modify the formula.
To search for a formula
Enter the following fields to search for a formula:

The identifier of the formula to be modified (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the formula ID in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the formula IDs that are similar to the value specified here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the formula to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve formula IDs irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Associated Parameter |
The parameter to which the formula is associated (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the associated parameter in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the associated parameters that are similar to the value specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria provided:

The textual description of the formula. |
Formula Content |
The actual formula. |
Status |
The status of the formula which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked "Formula #" in the multiline, to modify the formula details.
