The selected formula can be modified in this page. You can modify the formula description and the status of the formula. For modifying the formula content, you can select the participating parameters from the multiline. You can add or delete parameters from the formula content when the formula is not associated to any other parameter. If the formula is already associated to the parameter, then only addition of parameters is allowed.
Select the “Edit Formula” link in the “Select Formula” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked "Formula #" in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit Formula” page appears.
Note: Upon launching this page, the system lists all the consumption and range parameters created in the “Aircraft” business component, that are in “Active” status, in the multiline.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Formula Details” group box:

Enter the following fields in the “Formula Details” group box to modify the formula details:

Use the drop-down list box to change the status of the formula. The system lists “Active” and “Inactive”. |

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the formula from future reference in other activities. |

Note: You can add or delete parameters from the formula content when the formula is not associated to any other parameter. If the formula is already associated to the parameter, then only deletion of parameters is allowed.
The system lists the consumption and range parameters (defined in the “Aircraft” business component) that are in “Active” status, in the “Parameter Details” multiline.
The system displays the following fields:

The textual description of the consumption or range parameter. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the parameter.
Click the “Transfer Parameter” pushbutton to transfer the parameter selected in the multiline to the “Formula Content” field in the “Formula Details” group box.
Provide a valid mathematical operator in the “Formula Content” field in the “Formula Details” group box.
Enter a valid numeric factor in the “Formula Content” field or select another parameter in the multiline and transfer the parameter to the “Formula Content” field.
Click the “Edit Formula” pushbutton to update the modified formula.
The system does not allow you to modify the formula content, if any of the following conditions is true:
If the formula is mapped for a calculated parameter.
If the calculated parameter exists in consumption and range parameters.
If the parameter in the formula content is a combination of Base Parameter and Flight Log Parameter.
The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:
