Select the “Track Tool Usage” link in the “Select Facility Object” page.
The "track Tool Usage” page appears.
The “Facility Object Details” group box displays the following.
Facility Object # |
The number that identifies the facility object. |
Facility # |
The facility # reference of the facility object. |
Part # |
The part # reference of the facility object. |
Part Description |
The short description of the facility object. |
Lot # |
The lot # of the facility object. |
Serial # |
The serial # of the facility object. |
Holding Work Center # |
The holding work center of the facility object. |
Holding Tool Crib # |
The holding tool crib of the facility object. |
Specify the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to retrieve usage details of the part#.
From Date |
Select the start date and time of the period for which you wish to know the issue/usage details. Select the start time of the day in the adjacent field. |
To Date |
Select the end date and time of the period for which you wish to know the issue/usage details. Select the end time of the day in the adjacent field. |
Display Option |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether you wish to retrieve issue, usage details for the par or both. The drop-down list box displays the following: Issue Document, Usage Reported and Both. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
On click of the “Get Details” pushbutton, Total Usage Hours of the tool shows up and, the multiline displays the following details of the tool.
From Date & Time |
The start date of the period for which usage details of the tool are provided in this page. |
To Date & Time |
The end date of the period for which usage details of the tool are provided in this page. |
Work Center # |
The work center to which the tool was issued for usage. |
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the reference document that initiated/reported usage of the tool. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The reference document that initiated/reported usage of the tool. |
Display Option |
The display option that you selected as the search criteria – Issue Document, sage Reported or Both |
WU Type |
The type of the task for which the tool was issued/used. |
Work Unit # |
The task # for which the tool was issued or used. |
Comments |
Additional information on issue/usage of the tool. |
Aircraft Reg. # |
The aircraft for the maintenance of which the tool was issued or used. |
Part # |
The part for the maintenance of which the tool was issued or used. |
Serial # |
The serial # of the part for the maintenance of which the tool was issued or used. |
Component # |
The component for the maintenance of which the tool was issued or used. |
Part Description |
The description of the part for the maintenance of which the tool was issued or used. |
Track Tool Usage – Page overview
The “Track Tool Usage” page enables in monitoring the usage of tools by two means; 1) Issue documents, 2) Reported usage documents.
A tool is essentially a part of type ‘Tool’ used in the execution of maintenance tasks on parts/components/aircraft in work centers.
You may choose the period for which you require usage details.
