Set Options – A summary of the activity

In this page, you can set  or reset the following processing parameters for the Facility Management component,

• The standard tool issue period in days

• The planning horizon for facility maintenance in days

• The shop work order status on internal facility maintenance: Fresh or Scheduled

• The default numbering type for tools issue

• The authentication requirement for tools issue

• The facility object # code generation mode

• The numbering type for facility object # generation

• The numbering type for shop work orders

• The numbering type for repair orders

• The facility object # generation based on Part type

This activity aims to improve usability through reduced data entry by the end user. This is achieved by defaulting standard values in the relevant fields of the subsequent activities.
