Help on facility object

In this page, you can retrieve the details of a facility. You can carry out a search based on the organization unit name, facility category, facility number, and facility description. The system retrieves the details of the facility including number, description, category, capacity and rate per hour.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Facility Object #” field in the main screen.

The “Help on Facilities” page appears.

Enter the following filters in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the facility object you want to find. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Facility Object #	The number that identifies the facility object. You can enter the facility object number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the facility object numbers having the characters entered here.
Facility Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the facility object. The system lists one of the following values: Tools, Equipments or Others, depending on the rights of the login user. If the login user has rights to Tool type of facility object, “Tools” is displayed; “Equipments” is displayed, if the user has rights to Equipment type of facility object and “Others” is displayed, if the login user has rights to Other type of facility object.
Facility #	The facility # that identifies the part of type “Tool”, that is the reference to facility object. You can enter the facility number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the facility numbers having the digits entered here.
Ownership	Use the drop-down list box to select the kind of ownership for the facility object. The system lists the following values: Owned, Personal, Supplier and Customer.
Part #	The part reference for the facility object. You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Part Description	An explanation of the part referred to the facility object.
Held By	Use the drop-down list box to select the custodian of the facility object. The system displays ‘”Tool Crib", "Work Center" and "Employee".
Administered By	Use the drop-down list box to select the administrator for the maintenance of the facility object.. The system displays the following values: "Facility Maint. Coordinator", "Holding Work Center", "Execution Work Center" and "Tool Crib".
Holding Tool Crib #	Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse that keeps the part / facility object. The system displays the warehouses defined in the Storage Administration component in “Active” status with tool transactions allowed.
Held by Employee #	The identification number of the employee, who is the custodian of the facility object. You can enter the employee number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Holding Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to select the holding work center of the facility object. The system lists all the work centers defined in “Work Center” business component with the status as “Active”.
Planner Group	You can enter the planner group in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Exe. Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to select the execution work center of the facility object. The system lists all the work centers defined in “Work Center” business component with the status as “Active”.
Admin. Tool Crib #	Use the drop-down list box to select the admin. tool crib of the facility object. The system lists all the warehouses defined in storage administration business component in “Active” status with tool operations allowed.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Facility Object #	The identification number of the facility object.
Facility Type	The type of the facility. For example, Tools Equipments or Others.
Facility #	The identification number of the facility.
Part #	The reference part number for the facility object.
Serial #	The serial number of the facility object..
Lot #	The lot number of the facility object .
Manufacturer’s Serial #	The serial number of the facility object at the location of production.
Manufacturer’s Lot #	The lot number of the facility object at the location of production.
Model	The model of the facility object as defined in work center business component.
Part Description	The name / description of the facility.
Ownership	The ownership of the facility object.
Owning Agency #	The entity that owns the facility object.
Held By	The custodian of the facility object.
Administered By	The entity that administers and monitors maintenance and calibration of the facility object.
Held by Employee #	The identification number of the employee who is the custodian of the facility object. This field displays if “Employee” is specified in the Held By field.
Held by Employee Name	The name of the employee who is the custodian of the facility object.
Holding Work Center #	The identification number of the work center that is the custodian of the facility object. This field displays if “Work Center” is specified in the Held By field.
Holding Tool Crib #	The identification number of the holding tool crib that is the custodian of the facility object. This field displays if “Tool Crib” is specified in the Held By field.
Admn. Tool Crib #	The identification number of the administering tool crib that monitors maintenance for the facility object.
Planner Group	The planner group that monitors maintenance of the facility object. This field displays if “Facility Maint. Coordinator" is specified in the Administered By field.
Exe. Work Center	The execution work center for the facility object. This field displays if "Execution Work Center”, is specified in the Administered By field.
Status	The status of the facility object. For example, Active or Inactive.

Check the box preceding the facility object record in the multiline to select the record that has to be transferred to the main page.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
