Selecting facility object to modify

Select the “Edit Facility Object” link under the “Facility Management” business component.

The "Select Facility Object " page appears.

Click the “Primary Search Criteria” tab to search for the facility object you wan to modify.

Click the “Additional Search Criteria” tab to search for the facility object you wan to modify.

Select the “Search” pushbutton.

Facility Object #	The number that identifies the facility object.
Status	The status of the facility object, such as Active or Inactive.
Facility Type	The facility type of the facility object, such as Tool, Equipment or Other.
Facility #	The facility # reference of the facility object.
Part #	The part reference for the facility object.
Serial #	The serial # of the facility object.
Lot #	The lot # of the facility object.
Part Description	The short description of the facility object, such as Owned, Personal, Supplier or Customer.
Ownership	The ownership type of the facility object, such as the Customer name or supplier name.
Owning Agency	The owning agency of the facility object.
Holding Work Center #	The holding work center of the facility object.
Holding Tool Crib #	The holding tool crib of the facility object.
Current Location	The current location of the facility object. When the FOB# is issued to an employee the system displays in the format: Issued \| <Employee Name> (Identified from the Issue/Return Log of the Facility Object #). When the FOB# is in stock the system displays in the format: Tool Crib \| <Tool crib#> (Identified from the Issue/Return Log of the Facility Object #. If FOB# is neither in stock nor issued out, then the system displays as Held by: <Employee/Workcenter>). When the FOB# is sent for External Repair the system displays in the format: Repair \| <Repair Order#> (Identified using the Work Status and Last Exec. Document # field in “Plan Facility Maintenance” screen). When the FOB# is sent for internal work order the system displays in the format: Work Order \| <SWO#> (Identified using the Work Status and Last Exec. Document # field in “Plan Facility Maintenance” screen).
Facility Object User Status	The user status of the facility object.
Facility Object User Class	The user class of the facility object.

Select the hyperlink in the Facility Object # column for the facility object record you want to modify.

The “Edit Facility Object Record” page appears.
