 The "Maintain Facility Maintenance Info for Parts" page appears.

The system displays the following field:    

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Part #

The number that identifies the part. You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

The system retrieves the part numbers having the digits entered here.

Part Description

The name or description of the part. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

The system retrieves the parts with descriptions having the characters entered here.

Part Type

The type of the part. The system displays the following values: Raw Material, Component, Expendable, Tool, Miscellaneous, Consumables and Kit. These are defined in the in Part Administration component.

The system retrieves the parts of the type specified here.

Exe. Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution work center for the part. The system displays the work centers defined in the “Work Center” business component.

The system retrieves the parts associated with the execution work center specified here.

Prog. Defined?

Use the drop-down list box to specify if a default maintenance program is defined for the facility object. Select “Yes” to indicate a maintenance program has been set for the facility object and “No” to indicate the contrary.

The system retrieves the parts for which default maintenance is defined or not defined as specified here.

Facility #

The identification number of the facility. You can enter the facility number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

The system retrieves the parts with reference to the facility  specified here.

The “Facility Maintenance Details” multiline displays the following fields for the parts that satisfy the search criteria.

Part #

The identification number of the part.

Part Description

The name / description of the part.

Last Modified By

The identification number and name of the employee who most recently recorded / updated the maintenance details.

Last Modified Date

The date when the maintenance details were modified.

Execution Facility

Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution facility for the part. The system displays the following values: “Internal”, “External” and “Internal and External”.

The execution facility indicates whether the maintenance of the part is carried out inside the organization or outside.

Exe. Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to select the execution work center for the facility object. This field is applicable and mandatory, if you have selected “Internal” in the Execution Facility field.

Preferred Repair Agency

The most favored repair agency for the facility object. This field is applicable and mandatory, if you have selected “External” in the Execution facility field.

Help facility available

Note: If “Internal and External” is selected in the Execution Facility field, either Exe. Work Center or Preferred Repair Agency field must be specified.

Facility #

The identification number of the facility.

Work Unit Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit type for maintenance. The system displays “Task” and “Standard Procedure”.

Work Unit #

The identification number of the task or standard procedure as selected in the Work Unit Type field. This field is mandatory if you have specified Work Unit Type field.

Authoring OU

The authorizing organization unit for maintenance of the facility object.

COM Reqd?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the Certificate of Maintenance (COM) is required for the facility object.

Select

  • “Yes”, if COM is mandatory for the part

  • “No” to indicate the contrary.

Interval (Days)

The periodicity of maintenance in days.

Alert Days

The number of days prior to which the facility object administrator is alerted about the maintenance due for the facility object.

Remarks

Any comments on the maintenance details.
