Creating an engineering service request – An overview

Create Engineering Service Request - An Overview

This page allows you to raise an ESR and confirm it. The ESR can be raised on an aircraft, component or engine. Based on whether you select “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”, you can enter the aircraft details, component details and the reference document details.

You must describe the problem for which the ESR is being raised. You can assign a priority to the ESR and specify the reference documents against which the clarification is being sought. An ESR is in the “Fresh” status when it is created; on confirmation the status is updated to “Confirmed”.

Note: The system displays the work order number, the discrepancy number or the maintenance report if this page is invoked from the “Hangar Work order”, "Component Work Order", "Flight Log” or the “Discrepancy Processing” business component.
