Select the “Define Alternate Skills” link under the “Common Master” business component.
The “Define Alternate Skills” page appears.
To define alternate skills for a primary skill
Enter the following in the “Skill Details” multiline:

The skill for which you want to define an alternate skill. Help facility available |
The multiline “Skill Details” multiline displays the following:

The description of the primary skill. |
Enter the following in the “Skill Details” multiline:

The login user who created the skill record. |

The date of which the login user created the skill record. |

Click the “Define Alternate Skills” pushbutton to save recorded skills.
To modify / update alternate skill definition
Enter the filters in the Search Criteria group box to retrieve skills for which you want to define alternates:

To retrieve a specific primary skill record based on its code, enter the skill code. Help facility available |
