Entering recount results for the CC sheet

This page allows you to enter the recount results for the CC sheets for which recount is mandatory and which are in the “Pending Recount” or “Partially Recounted” status. Tell me more
Select the “Enter Recount Results” link in the “Select Cycle Count Sheet” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked CC sheet number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Enter Recount Results for Cycle Count” page appears.
The system displays the following field:

Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Sheet Details” group box:

CC Sheet # |
The number identifying the cycle count sheet for which you need to enter the recount results. |

Status |
The status of the CC sheet, which could be “Partially Recounted” or “Pending Recount”. |

Sheet Description |
The textual description of the CC sheet. |
|
Sheet Basis |
The basis on which the sheet is generated, which could be “Based On Overdue” or “Based on Plan”. |

CC Plan # |
The number that identifies the CC plan from which the CC sheet was generated. |

Plan Description |
The textual description of the CC plan. |
|
Warehouse # |
The warehouse for which the CC sheet was generated. |

Warehouse Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box:

Part # |
The number that identifies the part for which recount results must be recorded (Alphanumeric, 40).. Ensure this is a valid part number as defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and in the “Active” status. Help facility available. |

WH- Zone # |
The number that identifies the zone in the warehouse in which the part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure this is a valid zone number in the specified warehouse. Help facility available. |

Bin # |
The number that identifies the bin in the warehouse in which the part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure this is a valid bin number for the specified zone and warehouse. Help facility available. |
Click “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the part details in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Default Entries” group box:

Recounted By |
The name of the user who performed the recount (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure this is a valid employee name as defined in the “Record Personal Information “ activity of the “HRMP” business component and in the “Active” status. The system displays the login user name by default. Help facility available. |

Date of Recounting |
The date on which the recount was performed (Date Format). Ensure this date is not earlier than the count date and not later than the server date. The system displays the current server date by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Information” multiline:
Note: The system displays 100 records at a time in the multiline.

Line # |
The line number generated by the system for every part listed in the multiline. |

Part # |
The number that identifies the part. |

WH- Zone # |
The number that identifies the zone in the warehouse where the part is stored. |

The number that identifies the bin in which the part is stored. |

Stock Status |
The user-defined stock status of the part. |

Count Quantity |
The quantity of parts counted during the recount. |

Recount Qty |
The quantity of parts recounted during the cycle count (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure this is a positive value. |
The system displays the following:

Transaction UOM |
The unit of measurement of parts during recount. |
Enter the following:

Recounted By |
The name of the user who performed the recount (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure this is a valid employee name as defined in the “ Record Personal Information “ activity of the “HRMP” business component and in the “Active” status. Leave this field blank, to assign the default value specified in the “Default Entries” group box. Help facility available. |

Date Of Counting |
The date on which the part was recounted (Date Format). Ensure this date is not earlier than the count date and not later than the server date. Leave this field blank, to assign the default value specified in the “Result Information” group box. |
The system displays the following:

Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
|
Part Control Type |
The type of part control, that is, whether it is serial or lot controlled. |
|
Stock Quantity |
The quantity of parts available as per the system inventory record. |
|
Stock UOM |
The unit of measurement of parts for the stock quantity. |
Enter the following

Remarks |
Any additional remark pertaining to the recount results (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the parts for updating or confirming recount results.
Check the “Select All” box below the multiline, to mark all the parts for updating or confirming the results.
To view subsequent set of records
Click the "Previous" pushbutton, to view the set of records prior to the set of records displayed in the multiline.
Click the "Next" pushbutton, to view the set of records subsequent to the set of records displayed in the multiline.
For example if there exists 200 records, and if records 1-100 are currently displayed in the multiline, then on clicking the “Next” pushbutton the system displays the next set of records i.e. records 101-200 in the multiline.
Similarly if records 101-200 are currently displayed in the multilane, then on clicking the “Previous” pushbutton the system displays the previous set of records i.e. records 1-100 in the multiline.
Note: The system displays an error message on clicking the “Previous” and “Next” pushbuttons respectively when there exists no set of records prior and next to the set of records currently displayed.
Click the “Record Recount Results” pushbutton, to update the recount results.
The system updates the recount results for the selected parts.
Click the “Confirm Recount Results’ pushbutton, to confirm the recount results.
Note: The system ensures that for all the serial number-controlled and/or lot number-controlled parts, the certificate and parameter information is updated before confirming the recount results.
Note: On confirmation the system updates the re-count quantity entered for parts that are “Serial Controlled”, “Lot Controlled” or “Serial and Lot controlled”, in the “Record Serial # / Lot # information” page.
The system confirms the recount results for the selected parts and updates the status of the CC sheet as follows:
If the current status of the sheet is “Pending Recount” and some of the recount results are confirmed, the system changes the status to “Partially Recounted”.
If the current status is “Pending Recounted” and all the recount results are confirmed, the system changes the status to “Recounted”.
If the current status is “Partially Recounted”, the system changes the status to “Recounted“ or retains the “Partially Recounted” status, depending on whether all the recount results are confirmed and whether recount is mandatory.
Note: For serial controlled parts, the system performs the following while confirming the recount results for cycle count:
a) Throws an error message, if the last transaction for the part serial number is maintenance issue, general issue or loan/rental issue.
b) Checks if the last transaction for the part - Serial number is stock transfer issue, then the stock transfer receipt or material loss document for the part number or serial number is created and confirmed. Otherwise, the system throws an error message.
c) Checks if the last transaction for the part - Serial number is stock transfer issue, then the stock transfer receipt or material loss document for the part - Serial number is not in “Fresh” status. Otherwise, the system throws an error message.
d) Checks if the last transaction for the part serial number is repair order issue, exchange issue, PBH exchange issue or subcontract issue with corresponding reference documents such as repair order, purchase order and subcontract order in “Closed”/”Short Closed”/”NT Closed” /”BER Closed” status. Otherwise, the system throws an error message.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Record Serial #/ Lot# Details” link, to modify the serial and lot details of the recounted part.
You can confirm the recount results of the part.
Record the recount results for the parts in the multiline.
Select the part for which you need to confirm the recount result. Or, if you wish to confirm the results for all parts, check the “Select All” box below the multiline.
Click the “Confirm Count Result”, to confirm the recount result for the selected part(s).
Entering recount results for the CC sheet – An overview
This page allows you to enter the recount results for the CC sheets for which recount is mandatory and which are in the “Pending Recount” or “Partially Recounted” status. If the status of the selected sheet is “Pending Recount”, the system retrieves all the parts associated with the sheet for entering recount results. If the status is “Partially Recounted”, the system retrieves only those parts, which are yet to be updated or confirmed.
You can enter the recount results such as the name of the person who performed the recount, date of recount, recount quantity, transaction UOM and any other additional remarks pertaining to the recount results. This page also allows you to update or confirm the recount results.
