Maintaining journey log parameters

For the specified model-configuration class combination specified in the Aircraft Details group box at the top of the page, the system retrieves all the journey log parameters previously defined, if any

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

Leg-wise Parameters

The parameters tracked at the leg level for the journey log. The system displays values such as, Parameter 1, Parameter 2, Parameter 3, Parameter 4, Parameter 5 and, Parameter 6 in this column of the multiline.

Position Code

The position code for which the parameter is reported (Alphanumeric, 25).

Help facility available.

Note: Ensure that for the selected model number and configuration class combination, the position code is active and available in the first level, in the “Configuration” business component.

The system displays the following field:

Position Type

The type of the component to be placed in the position code, as defined in the “Build Model Configuration” activity of the “Configuration” business component.

The system displays “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”.

Parameter

The number identifying the parameter reported at the specified position code (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the parameter is of type “Consumption” or “Range”. Also ensure that the parameter is in “Active” status, as defined in the “Aircraft” business component.

If the position code is specified, the parameter must have been defined for the part number available at the specified position code in the first level, in the “Configuration” business component.

If the position code is not specified, the parameter must have been defined for the selected model number in the “Edit Consumption & Range Parameters” page of the “Create Aircraft Model” activity in the “Aircraft” business component,

Help facility available.

Note: If the parameter is entered, ensure that the position code and parameter number combination is not duplicated for an aircraft model and configuration class.

The system retrieves the parameter details defined for the aircraft model and configuration class, and displays the details in the following fields:

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter, which can be “Consumption” or “Range”.

Update Mode

The system displays the mode by which the parameter value is updated. The system displays one of the following:

  • Delta –Indicates that the new parameter value is added with the existing parameter value.

  • New –Indicates that the parameter value is overwritten by the new parameter value.

The system leaves the field blank, if the aircraft model is not specified.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.
