Help on consumption and range parameters
This page allows you to retrieve the details of the consumption and range parameters that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the parameter number, parameter type or organizational unit description. Based on the search criteria specified, the details of the parameter are displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Parameter” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Parameters” page appears
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a parameter. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Parameter |
The parameter number for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all parameters whose numbers are similar to the value entered here. |
OU Description |
Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the organizational unit in which the parameters to be retrieved, belongs. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default. |
Parameter Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the parameter to be retrieved, which could be “Range” or “Consumption”. The system lists all those parameters whose type is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parameters irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” button to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The number identifying the parameter. |
Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which could be “Range” or “Consumption”. |
Formula # |
The formula associated to the parameter. |
Formula Content |
The content of the formula. |
Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the consumption or range parameter.
Click the “OK” button.
