Identify Non-Component Maintenance Objects – A summary of the activity

This activity enables you to identify non-component maintenance objects such as piece part and make, in the system. Using this activity, you can identify objects that are not ‘components’, but need to be defined in the system to carry out maintenance work. These non-components are categorized as 'object types', to indicate that the maintenance work is to be done on that object. Component Work Orders can be raised on these non-components objects, based on object types defined in this activity.
