Using this page, you can generate serviceable certificate for a part that is removed from an aircraft. You can generate the serviceable certificate for a part which is removed from an aircraft in serviceable condition or which is moved to Ship-on-Shelf (SOS) disposition and confirmed as ‘No Fault Found’. The certificate is generated for these parts before they are required to be moved to a serviceable stock / stores.

Certificate Generation Option

Create

Select this radio button, to create the serviceable certificate.

Reprint

Select this radio button to reprint the existing serviceable certificate for the selected Form Tracking #.

Search Criteria

Note: You must enter any one of the search criteria, if this page is invoked from the “Aircraft” business component.

Component Replacement #

The component replacement transaction through which removal has happened. You can enter the component replacement number in full or specify it partially using the character the “*” character. The system retrieves the following:

  • If ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the system retrieves and displays all the Component Replacement Transactions through which removal has happened from the aircraft, with removed component condition as “Serviceable”. The component must also have the current component condition as "Serviceable".

  • If Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, the system retrieves the details of the Component Replacement transaction which has 'Form Tracking #'.

Certificate Attributes

Use the drop-down list box and select one of the following certificate attributes:

  • Certificate Type – Select this option to retrieve all the 'Form Tracking #' generated with the Certificate Type selected.

  • Certifying Authority - Select this option to retrieve all the 'Form Tracking #' generated with the Certificate Authority selected.

  • Form Tracking # - Select this option to retrieve the Form Tracking # specified in the editable field provided alongside. Form Tracking # indicates the number identifying the certificate.

You must enter a value in the editable field, if a value is selected in the drop-down list.

By default, the system displays “Form Tracking #”.

This field appears only if the ‘Certificate Generation Options’ is set as “Reprint”.

 

Warehouse

The warehouse in which the part is available. The system lists all the Serviceable Warehouses mapped to the user as defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. On selecting a warehouse, the system retrieves the following:

  • If ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the system retrieves and displays all the parts available in the selected warehouse, whose component condition is “Serviceable”, “Overhauled”, and “New”.

  • If Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, the system retrieves all the parts available in the selected warehouse and which have the 'Form Tracking #' already generated.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Part #

The code identifying the part for which you wish to generate the certificate. You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the character the “*” character. The system retrieves the following:

  • If ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the system retrieves and displays all the parts whose component condition is “Serviceable”, “Overhauled”, and “New”.

  • If Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, the system retrieves all the parts matching the Part # entered, and for which 'Form Tracking #' is already generated.

The system retrieves only the last available record matching the Part # - Serial # / Lot # combination. For example, if multiple Component Replacement # available for the Part # - Serial # combination, only the last CR record will be retrieved.

Serial # / Lot #

The serial number or lot number of the part. You must enter either serial number or lot number. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the character the “*” character. The system retrieves the following:

  • If ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the system retrieves and displays all the parts with the Serial # or Lot # specified, and whose component condition is “Serviceable”, “Overhauled”, and “New”.

  • If Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, the system retrieves all the parts matching the Serial # / Lot # entered, and for which 'Form Tracking #' is already generated.

The system retrieves only the last available record matching the Part # - Serial # / Lot # combination. For example, if multiple Component Replacement # available for the Part # - Serial # combination, only the last CR record will be retrieved.

Component #

The code identifying the component. You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the character the “*” character. The system retrieves the following:

  • If ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the system retrieves and displays all the parts with the component # specified, and whose component condition is “Serviceable”, “Overhauled”, and “New”.

  • If Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, the system retrieves all the parts matching the Component # entered, and for which 'Form Tracking #' is already generated.

The system retrieves only the last available record matching the Component #. For example, if multiple Component Replacement # available for the Component #, only the last CR record for the respective Component # will be retrieved.

Note: The system retrieves only those records whose Component Condition is "Serviceable” / “Overhauled” / “New" and whose CR status is “Removed” or “Replaced”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Note: If the ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Create”, the following fields in the multiline are editable: 'Eligibility', 'Manual Ref. Doc#', 'Manual Ref. Doc Rev.#', 'Manual Ref. Doc Date', ' Exe. Ref Doc #', 'Shelf Life Expiry Date', 'Work Center #', 'Work Status', 'Certifying Remarks', 'Certificate Type', 'Certifying Authority', 'Employee #', 'Skill l#', 'License#', ''Authorization #'', 'Authorization Ref.#', 'Issue Date'.

Else if the ‘Certificate Generation Option’ is set as “Reprint”, all the fields in the multiline appear as display-only fields.

Part #

The code identifying the part for which certificate is to be generated.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

Lot #

The lot number of the part.

Condition

The condition of the part.

QTY

The quantity of parts removed from the aircraft.

Aircraft Reg. #

The registration number of the aircraft from which the part is removed.

Component Replacement #

The component replacement # through which the part is removed from the aircraft.

Eligibility

The eligibility of the certificate for associated component.

Form Tracking #

The number identifying the certificate. A valid Form tracking # must be available for reprint.

Manual Ref. Doc. #

Any reference document associated with the part.

Manual Ref. Doc. Rev. #

The revision number of the reference document.

Manual Ref. Doc. Date

The date of the reference document.

Exe. Ref. Doc. #

The execution reference document number.

Shelf Life Expiry Date

The shelf life expiry date of the part.

Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box and select the work center. The system lists all the work centers mapped to the login user, as defined in the “Work Center” business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Warehouse #

The serviceable warehouse defined the “Storage Administration” business component.

Work Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work performed on the component. Mandatory. The system lists all the ‘Active’ Repair Process Codes defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Certifying Remarks

Any comments related to the certificate. Mandatory.

Certificate Type

Use the drop-down list box and select the Certificate Type. Mandatory. The system lists all the Certificate Types defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Certifying Authority

Use the drop-down list box and select the Certifying Authority. Mandatory. The system lists all the Certifying Authorities defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Employee #

The code identifying the employee which issues the certificate. Mandatory. The employee entered here must be valid as defined in the “Employee Personal Information” business component.

Help facility available.        

Skill #

The skill code defined for the employee. Mandatory.

License #

The unique license number of the employee. Mandatory.

Authorization #

A number identifying the authorization of the employee.

Authorization Ref. #

A number identifying the reference authorization.

Issue Date

The date of issue of the certificate. Mandatory. The date entered must be earlier than or equal to the current date.

To create the certificate

  1. For the Employee # entered, License # must be in ‘Active’ status, and 'Valid Till’ date and ‘Revoke / Suspension Date’ must be greater than or equal to server date as defined in the “Record Employee License Information” page.

  2. Base Part # / Part Group # in the “Record Employee License Information” page must match with the Part # in the multiline or Base Part # of the Part # defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
