In this page you can select a part for viewing the maintenance information. Tell me more.

The “Select Part” page appears.

Part #

The part for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part has already being defined in the “Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and is in “Active” status.

Part #

The part for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part for which details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the base part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose base part numbers are similar to the value entered here.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the base ATA number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.

Part Classification

Use the drop-down list box to select the classification of the part. The system lists the options “Rotable”, "Repairable”, Controllable” and "None". The system displays “Rotable” by default. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parts irrespective of their classification.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the part to be viewed, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the parts that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of parts irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default.

Org. Unit Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit for which you wish to view the part details. Leave the field blank to retrieve all parts belonging to all the organizational units in the organizational model. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default.

Note: The system lists all the parts in the multiline if all the search criteria fields are left blank.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part.

Part Classification

The component type to which the part belongs, which can be “Rotable”, “Repairable”, “Controllable” or "None".

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs.

Status

The status of the part, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.

This page allows you to select a part number to view its details. If you know the part number to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the part number, base part number, ATA chapter component type to which the part belongs, part status and the organizational unit description. The details of the parts, such as its description, base part, component type, ATA chapter to which the part belongs and the status are displayed in the multiline.
