This page allows you to select an component family to be viewed. Tell me more.

The “Select Component Family” page appears.

Component Family #

The component family for which the details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25).

Component Family #

The component family for which the details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component families that are similar to the values entered here.

Status

The status of the component family to be viewed, which could be “Active” or "Inactive”. The system retrieves all the component families that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of component families irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default.

Part Classification

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part classification, which could be one of the following: “Rotables”, “Repairables”, or “Controllables”. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all component families irrespective of this field. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Org.Unit Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit for which you wish to view the component family details. Leave the field blank to retrieve all component families irrespective of the organizational unit. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default.

Note: The system lists all the component families in the multiline if all the search criteria fields are left blank.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Component Famlily #

The number identifying the component family.

Component Family Description

The textual description of the component family.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the component family belongs.

Status

The status of the component family, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

This page allows you to select a component family for which the details must be viewed. If you know the component family number to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the component family number, component type, status or organizational unit description. The details of the selected component family, such as the description, ATA chapter number and the status are displayed in the multiline.
