Recording utilizations of aircraft for specific period

Select the “Record Periodic Aircraft Utilizations” link under the “Aircraft” business component.

The “Record Periodic Aircraft Utilizations” page appears.

Enter the following filters in the “Search criteria” group box to find utilization records of aircraft that you wish to update. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Search On	Use the first drop-down list box to select Aircraft Group, Aircraft Model or Aircraft Reg. # for which you want to retrieve utilization details.
	Use the second drop-down list box to select Aircraft Group for which you want to retrieve utilization details.
	Use the input box next to enter Aircraft Reg. # or Model # for which you want to retrieve utilization details.
Parameter	Use the first drop-down list box to select the parameter type based on which you want to retrieve utilization details of aircraft. The drop-down list box displays the following: Consumption, Range, Technical and Attribute.
	Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter based on which you want to retrieve aircraft utilization records.
Update Date	Enter the start date and the end date for the period of which you want to retrieve aircraft utilization records.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the retrieved data in the “Utilization Details” multiline.

Note: The search retrieves the latest parameter records for aircraft updated in the Delta mode only.

You can update the fields in the “Utilization Details” multiline:

Aircraft Reg. #

The aircraft for which you want to record / update parameter value. Mandatory.

The “Utilization Details” multiline displays the following details.

Aircraft MSN	The manufacturer serial number of the aircraft for which you want to record / update parameter value.
Model #	The model of the aircraft for which you want to record / update parameter value.

Update the fields in the “Utilization Details” multiline:

Parameter

The parameter by means of which you want to update utilization for the aircraft. Mandatory.

The “Utilization Details” multiline displays the following.

Current Value - Since New

The parameter value as on the current date for the aircraft.

Update the fields in the “Utilization Details” multiline:

Utilization From

The start date of the aircraft utilization period for which you are recording parameter value.

Note: The Utilization From date must be earlier than the Utilization To date.

Utilization To

The end date of the aircraft utilization period for which you are recording parameter value.

Since New

The parameter value since the aircraft was inducted into operations.

The “Utilization Details” multiline displays the following.

Update Mode	The update mode for recording the parameter value, which will be ‘Delta’.
Last Update Date & Time	The date and time of the most recent update of the parameter value.
Last Updated Value	The most recently updated parameter value for the aircraft.
Utilization Comments	Additional information on the aircraft utilization.

Click the “Update Utilization” pushbutton to save the input details.

Note: This activity does not allow modification of existing values. This means you can record data only one time in this activity.

The Since New value will be divided by the number of days between the Utilization From & Utilization To dates and, the obtained value will be updated as individual record for each day in the given utilization period.
