Editing location details of component

You can update the location details of the component in this tab.

Select the “Location Details” tab in the ‘Edit Component Record” page

The system displays the following fields in the “Storage Details” group box:

Warehouse #	The number identifying the warehouse in which the component is stored.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
Last Transaction #	The number identifying the last transaction of the component with the warehouse.
Transaction Type	The type of the transaction based on which the component is moved into or moved out of the warehouse.

Note: The system displays the “Storage Details” from the “Stock Maintenance” business component, if the component or the EIPN component is available in the stock. If the component or the EIPN component is not available in the stock, the system displays only the “Last Transaction #” and “Transaction Type” of the component.

The system displays the following in the “Location Details” group box.

Location

The place where the component resides at the current point of time.

For example, the component may be available in one of the following locations,

The aircraft or component to which the component is attached
The warehouse where it is currently stocked
The primary work center where a work order is being executed on the component

Location detail

A short description of the location where the component currently resides, such as “Attached-Aircraft”.

Execution Order #

The execution document currently in-progress for the component, such as the RO 123 or GR 3456.

To proceed carry out the following:

Select the “Operational Details” tab to edit the operational details of the component.
Select the “Configuration Details” tab to edit the configuration details of the component.
Select the “Additional Details” tab to edit the additional details of the component.
