Creating ATA chapter

This page enables you to define Air Transport Authority (ATA) chapters in the system.

Select the “Create ATA Chapter” link under the “Aircraft” business component.

The “ Create ATA Chapter" page appears.

Enter the following fields in the multiline:

ATA #

A unique number identifying the system in the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 16). Mandatory. This can be a combination of numbers (0 to 9) and alphabets (A to Z) with a hyphen in between them (-). Ensure that this number is unique for the organizational unit.

Chapter description

The textual description of the aircraft system (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.

Check the box in the multiline to mark the ATA chapter for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the ATA chapters selected in the multiline.
Click the “Create ATA Chapters” pushbutton to create the ATA chapters.

Note: The system creates ATA chapters and sets the status of the created ATA chapters as "Active".
