Create ATA Chapter – A summary of the activity

ATA chapter numbers are unique identifiers of the systems in the aircraft. Each system in the aircraft is identified with an ATA Chapter number. The creation of the ATA Chapter numbers helps you to associate systems or part numbers to it. The ATA chapter number based grouping of part numbers help in carrying out system wise reliability analysis.

You can enter a unique number for the ATA chapter and provide a description for it. The system assigns the "Active” status as soon as the ATA chapter is created and sets the created date and time to the server date and time. You should ensure that the ATA number is unique for the organizational unit.
