Map Organization Unit to User

This activity allows you to map a particular user with various organization units available in the system. You can also modify the already mapped organization unit to the particular user.
Select the “Map Organization Units to User” link under the “Administration Process” business component.
The “Map Organization Unit to User” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:

User Name |
The unique name identifying the user to whom the organization unit has to be mapped. |
Click the “Fetch Organization Unit” pushbutton to fetch the organization unit details.
The system fetches all details and displays in the multiline.
Enter the following details in the multiline:

OU Instance |
The unique name identifying the organization unit (OU) instance for the user. |
The system displays the following in the multiline.
|
OU Instance Desc. |
The detailed description of OU instance. |
To save the organization unit details mapped to the respective user
Click the “Save Organization Unit” pushbutton to save the organization unit details mapped to the respective user.
The system saves the mapped organization unit to the particular user.
