Viewing bank / cash account definition

This page allows you to view the bank / cash account definition. You can carry out the search using the code identifying the finance book, the bank/cash/PTT code and the account code. The system retrieves the account definition details based on the search criteria.

Select the “View Bank/Cash Account Definition” link at the bottom of the “Select Account Rule” page.

The “View Bank / Cash Account Definition” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Finance Book	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book to which the financial entries are posted. All the postings finance books for which part account has already been defined, will be available for selection. The system displays the first finance book in the list by default on launch of the page.
Bank/Cash/PTT #	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the bank / cash/ PTT. All the codes mapped to the selected finance book, defined in the “Bank Cash Definition” business component. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.
Account #	The code identifying the bank / cash / PTT account (Alphanumeric, 32).
	Help facility available.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the account details.

The system displays the following in the “Account Definition Details” multiline:

Bank/Cash/PTT #	The code identifying the bank/cash/PTT.
Description	The description pertaining to the bank/cash/PTT code.
Bank Cash Account #	The code identifying the bank/cash account.
Description	The description pertaining to the bank cash account code.
Currency	The transaction currency of the bank account.
Bank Charges Account #	The code identifying the bank charges account.
Description	The description pertaining to the bank charges account.
Currency	The transaction currency of the bank charges account.
Effective From Date	The date from which the bank / cash account definition details are effective.
Valid Upto Date	The date till which the bank / cash account definition details are effective.
