Close Asset Proposal – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to close a proposal when it is decided that a proposal must not be used. You can close an asset proposal that is in the “Active” status. The status of the proposal after the closure is updated as “Closed”. This proposal cannot be used again. The system stores the login ID and the system date along with the closure details.

What you can do in this activity
The acquisition proposal can be closed if it has been decided that the proposal cannot or must not be used any longer. The status of the proposal is updated as “Closed” after the closure. This acquisition proposal cannot be used any longer.
Go to “Close Acquisition Proposal” page.
Close the proposal.
The retirement proposal can be closed if it has been decided that the proposal cannot or must not be used any longer. The status of the proposal is updated as “Closed” after the closure. This retirement proposal cannot be used any longer.
Go to “Close Retirement Proposal” page.
Close the proposal.
Multiple proposals, irrespective of whether it is an acquisition proposal or a retirement proposal is closed if it has been decided that the proposal cannot or must not be used any longer. The status of the individual proposals is updated as “Closed”.
Go to “Select Proposal” page.
Search, mark and close the proposals.
