Location / Cost Center Transfer – A summary of the activity

You can specify whether the receipt confirmation for transfer is required. The date on which the assets must be transferred is specified. You can carry out the search using the location, in which the asset exists, class to which the asset belongs, group to which the asset belongs, asset and tag details and the cost center to which the asset belongs.
You can default the destination location and the cost center in the multiline for easy data entry. You can specify the cost center or the location to which the assets must be transferred.

You can transfer the assets from one location to another or from one cost center to another.
Go to “Location / Cost Center Transfer” page.
Retrieve the assets which has to be transferred by specifying the search criteria.
Specify the location or the cost center to which the assets have to be transferred and transfer them.
Decide whether receipt confirmation is required or not
You can specify whether you need confirmation on transferring from the receiving end.
Go to “Location / Cost Center Transfer” page.
Specify “Yes” in the “Receipt Confirmation Required” field.
This is subject to the Company process parameter set : Reciept Confirmation Required for Asset transfer’. If parameter is set to ‘Yes’, reciept confirmation required has to be set to ‘Yes’, in Location/Cost center transfer as well. If parameter is set to ‘No’, reciept confirmation required can be set to ‘Yes’ or “No’ depending upon requirement.

You can default the location code and receiving cost center in the multiline for easy data entry.

Specify the receiving location code and the cost center in the “Destination Details” group box.
