Selecting inventory sheets for viewing
This page allows you search and select the inventory sheet for viewing the sheet details and the tags attached to it. You can directly enter the sheet number or can carry out the search using sheet number, status of the sheet, the date on which the sheet is created, location in which the asset exists, the asset class, group to which the asset belongs, asset and tag number and the cost center in which the asset is present. The system retrieves all the assets, based on the status selected.
Select the “View Inventory Sheet” link under the “Asset Inventory” business component.
The “Select Inventory Sheet” page appears.
Enter the following field if you are aware of the inventory sheet number or carry out the search:
Inventory Sheet No. |
A number identifying the inventory sheet (Alphanumeric, 15). |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the inventory sheet. Data entry in the following fields, are optional.
Inventory Sheet No. From |
The starting number in the range of sheet numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). You can also enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the inventory sheets that are greater than or similar to the value entered here. |
If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the inventory sheet starting from the first sheet number till the inventory sheet specified in the “To” field. |

To |
The ending number in the range of inventory sheet numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are lesser than the value entered here. The number entered here must be greater than the number entered in the “Inventory Sheet No. From” field. |
If this field is left blank and the “Inventory Sheet No. From” entered, then the system retrieves the vouchers starting from the number specified in the “Inventory Sheet No. From” field till the last inventory sheet. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the inventory sheet for viewing. The statuses available are |

Sheet Date From |
The starting date in the range of sheet dates from which the inventory sheet details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are raised later than this date. |
If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the inventory sheet starting from the first sheet in the database till the inventory sheet raised on the date specified in the “To” field. The date specified here must be less than the date entered in the “To” field. |

The ending date in the range of inventory sheet dates until which the inventory sheet details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are raised earlier than this date. |
If this field is left blank and “Sheet Date From” field is entered, then the system retrieves the sheet raised on the date specified in the “Sheet Date From” field till the last sheet in the database. |

Asset Location Code |
The number identifying the location in which the asset exists (Alphanumeric, 20). This number must be defined in the “Create Asset Location” activity of “Asset Location” business component. |

Asset Class Code |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the code identifying the class to which the asset belongs. All the asset class defined in the “Create Asset Class” activity of the “Asset Type Definition” business components are displayed in the drop-down list box. The system displays “All” by default. |
Asset Group Code |
A number identifying the group to which the asset belongs (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves all the assets, which belongs to group specified here. |

Asset Description |
The textual description pertaining to the description (Alphanumeric, 40). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the * characters. The system retrieves all the sheets whose asset description is similar to the value entered here. |
Cost Center |
A code identifying the cost center (Alphanumeric, 10). Enter the cost center in full or specify it partially using the * characters. The system retrieves all the asset that have cost centers is similar to the value entered here. |
Analysis # |
The analysis code identifying the cost center. |
Subanalysis # |
The Sub analysis code identifying the cost center. |
Tag No. |
A number identifying the asset tag (Integer). |

A textual description pertaining to the tag (Alphanumeric, 40). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the * characters. The system retrieves all the inventory sheets whose tag description is similar to the text entered here. |
