Unreconcile Transactions – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to un-reconcile transactions that have been reconciled earlier. Transactions are un-reconciled if a wrong reconciliation has been made. Un-reconciling a transaction reverses the reconciliation that has been made earlier. You cannot un-reconcile transactions if the financial year in which it has occurred has been “Closed”. You can un-reconcile all the transactions that are available in a bank statement or a bank book. You can also select transactions that you want to un-reconcile. The system updates the status of the un-reconciled transaction as “Unreconciled”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the reconciled transaction details.
