Setting non discrimination testing parameters
Select the “Set Non Discrimination Testing parameters” hyperlink.
The “Set Non Discrimination Testing Parameters” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date format |
The date format applicable to the login user. More details. |
Enter or select the following
Benefits Definition Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the benefits definition unit in which you have permissions to set non-discriminatory parameters. Tell me more. |
Salary |
The pay element or an accumulator based on which the salary of the employee is computed. |
Salary Rule |
The rule name based on which the salary is computed. |
Note that you can specify the salary or the salary rule based on which the employee’s salary is computed. You cannot specify both. Other wise the system will display an error.
Select or specify the following.
Current Year Deferral |
Select the check box to indicate that the system will check the current year deferrals at the time of performing non-discriminatory testing parameters. |
Previous Year Deferral |
Select the check box to indicate that the system will check the previous year deferrals at the time of performing non-discriminatory testing parameters. |
First Year's Assumed Deferral for NCE (%) |
Enter the assumed deferral percentage if it is for the first time. |
Non Discrimination testing Rule |
Enter the rule name based on which the system will perform the non- discriminatory testing. |
You can specify the plan codes defined in the selected benefits definition unit for which non- discriminatory testing is to be performed in the “Plan Code” column of the multiline.
Plan Code |
The unique code that identifies the plan. |
As you specify the plan codes, the system will display the program under which the plan is defined and the description of the plan code in the corresponding “Program” and “Plan Short Description” columns of the multiline respectively.

Plan Short Description |
The short descriptions of the plan. |
