Defining Optimization objectives tab

You can set objectives against a unique combination of Job type, Station and Work center. You can also set the priority for these constraints with the highest priority as 1.These constraints will be taken into consideration by the scheduling engine for scheduling the execution of shop work orders and aircraft packages in the work centers.
Select the “Optimization Objectives Setup” tab in the “Set Process Parameters” page.
The multiline displays the following:

Enter the following:
Applicable? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the objective is applicable for the parameter. The drop-down list box displays Yes and No. Note: For objectives under “Priority based Compliance Factor”, Applicable? must be set as ‘Yes’, if, “Priority based Compliance Factor” is set as Applicable. |
Enter the below fields only if “Applicable?” is set as ‘Yes’ for the objective.
Note: If you have set “Applicable?” As’ No’, do not enter values in the following fields.
Obj Weightage |
The weightage of the objective for the parameter. Enter a positive integer. Note: § The sum total of all the values in the Weightage column must not exceed 100 § Specify this field for the objective Aircraft on Ground / Normal under Priority based Compliance Factor |
Priority Weightage |
The priority weightage of the objective for the parameter. This field is mandatory, if Applicable? Is set as Yes for the objective. Enter a positive integer. Note: § The sum total of all the values in the Weightage column must not exceed 100 § Specify this field for objectives under “Priority based Compliance Factor” only. |
Relational Operator |
Use the drop-down list box to select the relational operator to set threshold value for the objective. The drop-down list box displays the following: § Not less than § Not greater than Relational Operator is mandatory, if you have specified a value in the Threshold Value field for the objective. |
Threshold Value |
The minimum permitted value of the objective. Threshold Value is mandatory, if you have selected “Not less than” or “Not greater than” as Relational Operator for the objective. |
The multiline displays the following:
Obj Updated By |
The login user who last updated the record. |
Obj Updated Date |
The date on which the login user last updated the record. |
Click the "Save Objectievs" pushbutton to save the optimization objectives.
To Proceed
Select the “Scheduling Parameters” tab.
Select the “Time Fence Setup” tab.
Select the “Initial Prioritization Setup” tab.
