Set Options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Hangar Work Order” business component. You can also modify the options that are already defined. You can set the following options in this activity:

• You can indicate whether authorization of the hangar work order is mandatory or not. You can also indicate the type of work order, such as non-routine, corrective or sub work order, for which authorization is required.

• You can specify whether modification of work order is allowed or only new tasks can be added to the work order. If modification is allowed, specify whether it requires authorization.

• You can indicate whether you can assign work orders before scheduling and whether you can re-schedule beyond compliance date.

• You can specify whether deferment of work is allowed or not and whether authorization is required for the deferment.

• You can set options to create independent or combined work orders for different type of tasks or main work orders.

• You can specify whether auto creation of material request is allowed, on scheduling the work order. You can provide the numbering type, category and the status of the material request, which will be defaulted when the material request for the work order is created automatically.
