Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page enables you to view the details of the parts required for carrying out the work order as well as for the tasks associated to the work order. On launching this page, the system lists all the part details for the task selected in the previous page. In this page, you can also select a task and view its details. You can view details such as the part number, the number of parts required, the substitute part and the part type.

The “View Part Requirements Information” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the “Word Order Details” group box:

Work Order #

The work order for which you wish to view the part requirements.

Work Order Description

The textual description of the work order.

Zoom facility available.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which you need view the parts requirement. The system lists all the tasks associated with the work order for the login organization unit.

The system displays the following field:

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

 

The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Details” group-box:

 

Customer #

The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft.

Customer Name

The name of the customer owning the aircraft.

Customer Order #

The number identifying the order placed by the customer.

Aircraft Release Date

The date on which the aircraft should be released to the customer, after the completion of the work order.

Currency

The base currency of the login organization unit.

Note: The "Customer #" and "Customer Name" fields are applicable only when the aircraft is not self-owned and the customer details are recorded in the system.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part that is required for carrying out the task.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part.

Reqd. Quantity

The number of parts required for carrying out the maintenance task on the component.

Need Frequency

The frequency of requirement of the part.

Warehouse #

The warehouse that will issue the part.

Available Qty

The number of parts available in the warehouse.

Substitute Part #

The number that identifies the part that can be issued as a substitute, if the required part is not available.

Substitute Type

The type for the substitute part, which could be “NHA” and “Alternate”.

Part Total Cost

The total cost per unit of the part.

Consumption Mode

The consumption mode of the part.
