Create Occurrence Report – A summary of the activity

An occurrence report is a document reporting the happening of an unexpected event that needs follow-up or corrective measures. An occurrence can be during flight on an aircraft or during maintenance activities at maintenance bases such as field bases or hangars / component shops.

In this page, you can report the occurrence details including the type of occurrence, date, time and location of occurrence along with the estimated customer delay details. You can also specify whether the occurrence led to any personnel injury or property damage and whether it requires any emergency procedure to be followed.

You can furnish the details of the personnel involved in the occurrence and the phase of operation during which the event happened. You can also brief the incident information while reporting an occurrence. An aircraft-related or unscheduled maintenance occurrence type generates a discrepancy, which gets processed through a resolution document like technical log. On closure of the discrepancy, its remedial action is transferred to the occurrence report.
