Note: This action is workflow-enabled. Notification messages can be sent and you can configure further processing of this document in the "Workflow Management" business component.
The "User Authentication Web Dialog" screen appears.
Insert the smart card into the smart card reader and enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) in the "User PIN” field. Follow the steps mentioned under the topic “Signing-off using Electronic Signature”, for user authentication while releasing aircraft.
Ensure the following, while releasing the aircraft:
No pending maintenance program should exist, with respect to date based schedule and usage-based schedule in the “Aircraft Maintenance Program” business component for the selected aircraft registration number.
No pending work units should exist, with respect to date-based schedule and usage-based schedule in the “Aircraft Maintenance Program” business component for the selected aircraft registration number.
No pending maintenance program should exist, with respect to date-based and usage-based schedules, for the component attached to the selected aircraft registration number.
Note: The system does not perform the above check, if the “Attachment Status” of the position code is “Error”.
Note: In the date-based schedule, the next schedule date along with the positive tolerance must not be the same, or earlier than the current server date. In the usage-based schedule, the next schedule value for each parameter along with the positive tolerance should not be equal or less than the corresponding parameter's present value.
No overdue work units should exist with source as “Deferred”, with respect to date based and usage based schedules for the components and subcomponents attached to the aircraft in the Component pending tray.
Note: For date-based schedules, the system considers the work units as the overdue, if the scheduled date of the work unit is earlier than the release aircraft date. For usage based schedules, the next schedule value along with the positive tolerance should not be equal or less that the corresponding parameter’s present value.
No deferred maintenance reports or discrepancies should exist, for the selected aircraft registration number or any components attached to the aircraft, with deferral parameter values crossing their limits in the date-based or usage-based schedules.
All positions in the aircraft that are defined as mandatory in the “Configuration” business component must have components attached to them.
Note: The system does not perform the above check, if the “Attachment Status” of the position code is “Error”.
No overdue work units with source as “Deferred” should exist for the selected aircraft and configuration class in the Compliance Tracking & Control pending tray, for both date based and usage based schedules.
Note: The system considers those work units as the overdue work unit, for which the scheduled date is earlier than the release aircraft date for date based schedules. For usage based schedules, the next schedule value along with the positive tolerance should not be equal or less that the corresponding parameter’s present value.
The system performs the following:
Updates the aircraft condition as “Operational“ for the aircraft registration number in the "Aircraft" business component
If an occurrence related discrepancy (that is, a discrepancy with source document type as Occurrence Report) which has set the “AOG Status?” as “Yes” in the "Aircraft" business component or a maintenance report based on such discrepancy, has been resolved in the technical log, the system updates the “AOG Status?” field as "No” for the aircraft registration number in the ”Aircraft” business component.
Note: The system performs this update whenever the record status of such discrepancies or Maintenance Report is “Closed”, “Transferred”, “No Fault Found”, “Retired” or “Canceled”
To proceed, carry out the following
