View Part Configuration – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to view the details of the part configuration that has already been defined. The part for which the configuration has to be viewed can be selected in the "Select Part " page. You can enter the part number directly, or search for a part by providing filter criteria.

The details of the part configuration can be viewed in the "View Part Configuration " page. This page also allows you to retrieve the details of all the child level configurations of the part configuration. The "View Piece Parts List" page allows you to view the details of the piece parts defined for the part configuration. The position details of the piece parts can be viewed in the "View Piece Part Position Information" page. You can view the notes that have been entered for the part configuration in the "View Notes" page. The "View Part Number Modification History" page enables you to view the parts that have been modified in the part configuration.

You can view the details of the part configuration modification and the entities affected by it in the "Compare Part Configuration Revisions" page. In the "View Configuration Revision History" page, the revision details of the part configuration can be viewed. The details of the engineering order released for modifying the part configuration can be viewed in the "View EO Compliance History" page.

• Use the “Select Part” page to select an part number for which the configuration detials must be viewed.

• Use the “View Part Configuration” page to view the configuration details for part.

View part number modification details

You can view the details of parts that are replaced in the selected position code. You can view the part numbers that were originally associated to the position code in the part configuration, which have been replaced. The parts associated to the position codes change when you make changes to the part configuration. The configuration changes are triggered by the release of “Engineering Orders”.

Compare part configuration revisions

The changes made to the part configuration and the different entities that are affected by the changes in the configuration can be viewed.

• Use the “Compare Part Configuration Revisions” page to view the changes made to the different revisions of the part configuration.

View configuration revision details

The revision details of the part configuration can be viewed. Details such as the revision number, revision date, name of the user who revised the part configuration, approved date, name of the user who approved the model configuration, whether the revision number is baselined or not can be viewed.

View EO compliance history

An engineering order is a document that is released for carrying out the engineering changes on the maintenance object (model, aircraft, part or component). The changes made to the part or component configuration are referred to as engineering changes. The engineering order compliance details of the part configuration can be viewed.
