Define Message - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can define a message. The workflow configuration users can login and retrieve tasks for different components. You can attach messages, edit the message body of messages that are already attached or delete attachments. Such messages will be sent to the actor/users when individuals initiate a task. For example, the message attached to “Advanced Notification” will be sent to the respective authorizer at the time of document creation.
Messages are defined under a specific group called ‘Notification Type’. Depending on the purpose or objective of the message, any one of the types can be appropriately selected. There are sixteen types of notifications provided by the “Workflow” business component. The message intended for a user will be sent, when the document is routed to the respective user for action. Also, an email will be sent to the user about the pending document. These messages can be viewed using the ’View Message’ activity of the “My Page” business component.
