The “Manage Activities” page appears.

Create Activity

Select this radio button to create an activity.

By default this field remains selected.

Modify Existing Activity

Select this radio button to modify details of an existing activity.

Note: The “Search” group box is enabled only if you wish to modify the existing activity.

Activity Based

Use the drop-down list box to select the activity based on which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. The system lists the following options:

  • Activity Category

  • Activity Code

  • Activity Desc.

By default the system leaves this field blank.

 

In the editable box alongside, enter the value corresponding to the activity based you have selected. The system retrieves all the activity codes that are similar to the value entered here.

Status

The status of the activity. The system lists the following options:

  • Active - Select this option if you wish to retrieve details of activities that are in “Active” status only.

  • Inactive - Select this option if you wish to retrieve details of activities that are in “Inactive” status only.

The system displays “Active” by default.

Activity Code

The code identifying the activity or task. Mandatory.

Ensure that the value entered in this field is a unique activity code.

Description

A textual description of the activity code. For Example Miscellaneous Repair. Mandatory.

Activity Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the activity belongs. The system lists all the categories that are in “active” status as defined for the quick code type “Activity Categories” in the “Manage Quick Codes” activity of the current business component.

By default the system leaves this field blank.

Status

The status of the activity code. You can select from the options:

  • Active

  • Inactive

The system displays “Active” in this field.

Est. Hours

Indicates the hours within which the activity is expected to be completed.

Ensure that the value entered in this field is not “0”.

Est.  Elapse Time

Indicates the time that has exceeded or fallen short of the estimated time taken to complete an activity.

Ensure that the value entered in this field is not “0”.

The system displays the following field in the “Record Statistics” multiline:

Created by

The name of the user who created the record.

Created Date

The date on which the record is created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who modified the record.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the record is modified last.

Note: Ensure that at least one record is selected in the multiline.
