Defining rule based pricing details

This section enables you to define monthly fixed rates that vary with respect to – a Station, Aircraft Qty. slabs, Equipment Group or Equipment Category.

! Note:

i. Rule based pricing definition is applicable for both FP per Month and Usage Based pricing basis.

ii. It is not applicable for any Contract level charges

iii. It is mandatory to complete the Rule based pricing definition for all line that have Pricing Method set as ‘Rule

The system displays the following:

Contract Rev. #	The number identifying the revised contract. FP Per Month
Contract Type	The type of contract for which could be, General, Customer Specific.
Contract Status	Status of the contract, which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Confirm”, “Revise” or “Approved”.
Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the model of the aircraft

Enter the following fields in Pricing Details section:

Rate Application

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which application of rates as per slabs is defined. You can select from the following options:

· Flat

· Incremental

By default the system displays the option ”Flat”

Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Pricing Line Reference #	The number identifying the pricing item from the Monthly fixed charges tab.
Equipment Group	Equipment Group against which the rate is being defined, The drop-down is listed with all Active Equipment Groups as defined in Create Quick Codes Activity under Aircraft Component. Leave this field blank if the definition is being provided for a Billing Element with 'Usage Based' pricing basis and Provisional milestone' or a Billing Element with Beginning of Horizon as regular milestone.
Equipment Category	The code or number that identifies the equipment category which would be mapped against an Equipment Group, with respect to which the rate is being defined. User may wish to provide a rate definition for a combination of Equipment Categories by entering multiple categories in same field separated by commas. Eg: eX1,eX2 Ensure no space is given while entering multiple categories. Leave this field blank if the definition is being provided for a Billing Element with 'Usage Based' pricing basis and Provisional milestone' or a Billing Element with Beginning of Horizon as regular milestone
Exec.Station	The station of service execution against which the rate is being defined. Rate may be varied against each service execution station. Leave this field blank if the definition is being provided for a Billing Element with 'Usage Based' pricing basis and Provisional milestone' or a billing element with Beginning of Horizon as regular milestone.
Qty. From	Quantity of Aircrafts from which the defined rate is applicable for.
Qty. To	Quantity of Aircrafts till which the defined rate is applicable for.
Rate	The fixed monthly rate or Usage rate for part or aircraft. Data selection in this field is mandatory‘
Notes	User defined editable fields to input any pricing related notes for references.

Click the”Save Rule Based Pricing” pushbutton to Save the entered rates against the objects in specific Contract
Select the “Recording fixed monthly” link at the bottom of the page to define monthly fixed rates that vary with respect to – a Station, Aircraft Qty. slabs, Equipment Group or Equipment Category
