Inventory Movement Report – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can generate the Inventory Movement Report. This report provides the ability to view the detailed accounting of part at Part Account Group Level. The details of all the transactions at both Summary level and at Detailed Level can be viewed. The user will also be able to view the following:

The details of all material transactions using Inventory Detailed and Summary report.
The details of all the consumption account codes using consumption- Detailed and Summary report.
The opening balance details alone at Part level.

Inventory Movement – Summary

Select “Summary” from the “Report Option” drop-down list box.

Header Information	Period From and To
Columns Printed	Finance Book, Part Account Group, Account Code, Account Description, Opening Balance, Purchases, Consumptions, Scrap, Revaluation, Other Issues, Other Receipts and Closing Balance.

Inventory Movement – Detailed

Select “Detail” from the “Report Option” drop-down list box.

Report Heading	Inventory Movement Report - Detailed
Header Information	Period From and To
Columns Printed	Finance Book, Part Account Group, Account Code, Account Description, Transaction Number, Transaction Type, Transaction Grouping, Transaction Date, Part #, Part Description, Transaction Amount and Quantity.

Inventory Movement – Inventory Opening Balance

Select “Opening Balance - Inventory” from the “Report Option” drop-down list box.

Report Heading	Inventory Movement Report – Detailed Opening Balance
Header Information	Period From and To
Columns Printed	Finance Book, Part Account Group, Account Code, Account Description, Part #, Part Description, Part Category, Amount and Quantity.

Inventory Movement – Consumption Summary

Select “Consumption – Summary” from the “Report Type” drop-down list box.

Header Information	Period From and To
Columns Printed	Finance Book, Part Account Group, Account Code, Account Description, Opening Balance, Purchases, Consumptions, Scrap, Revaluation, Other Issues, Other Returns and Closing Balance.

Select “Consumption – Detailed” from the “Report Type” drop-down list box.
