Select the “View Job ” option from the left pane.
The “Select Job to View” page appears.
The system displays the following field at the top right of the page.

Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. This refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity.

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to view the job level details. |
Select the required job record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete job code of the required employee.
Enter the job code in the “Job Code” field.
Select the “View Job” hyperlink beside.
The “View Job” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To view a job, refer to the topic “Viewing a Job”.
Use this method if you know just a few characters of the job code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the employee code and other details contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for other details such as , the job title, job level description and the job family.
Enter the following fields.
Job Code |
Specify a search parameter for the unique code of the job. For example, if you specify the search parameter as JB*, the system fetches the job record having the code beginning with JB, as in JBC005, JBC007 . |
Job Title |
Specify a search parameter for the job title. For example, if you specify the search parameter as *Manager, the system fetches the job records whose job titles match the search parameter specified, as in HR Manager, Finance Manager . |
Job Level Description |
From the drop down list box, select the name of the job level description which you want to specify for the search. |
Job Family |
From the drop down list box, select the name of the job family, which you want to specify for the search. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values. If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected employee movement unit.
The system displays the following details in the multi line, for the job records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Job Code |
The unique code of the job. |
Job Title |
The title of the job. |
Job Level Description |
The description of the job level to which the job belongs. |
Job Family |
The job family to which the job belongs. |
Inactive |
Indicates whether the details of the job is set to active status and available for use or is in inactive status. |
From the multiline, select the required job record, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the “View Job ” hyperlink.
The “View Job” page appears.
Use this page to select the job record which you want to view.
