Viewing a job level

Ensure that you are in the “Select Job Level to View” page.
Enter the complete job level code of the in the “Job Level Code” field.
Select the “View Job Level” hyperlink beside the job level code field.
The “View Job Level” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To view job level, refer to the topic “Viewing Job Level”.
Use the search facility to fetch the required records in the multiline.
Select the hyperlink on the required job level code in the multiline.
The “View Job Level” page appears.
The system displays the following detail at the top of the page.
Unit Structure Setup |
The unit structure setup value selected in the previous page. |
Language |
The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in the selected language. |
You can view the following job level details.
Job Level Code |
The unique code of the job level. The system displays the value specified in the “Select Job Level to View” page. |
Job Level Short Description |
A brief description of the job level. For example, all managers can be attached to the job level ‘Managers’ for which the short description can be “MGR”. |
Job Level Long Description |
A more detailed description to provide a clear understanding of what the job level pertains to. For example, if the job level is Job Level 1, for which the short description has been specified as MGR, the long description can be ‘applicable to all senior level managers’. |
Comments |
The additional comments, if any, specified pertaining the job level details. |
