Creating a session
Select the “Create Session” link from left pane.
The “Create Session” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date format |
The date format as applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Enter the following.
Training General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you want to create the session. Tell me more |
Session Code |
A unique code to define the session, which can be any combination of characters and numbers. You can enter upto a maximum of 12 characters. This field is mandatory. |
Session Short Description |
A unique short description of the session code. You can enter upto a maximum of 12 characters. This field is mandatory. |
Session Long Description |
A detailed description of the session. You can enter upto a maximum of 40 characters. |
Inactive |
Select this checkbox only if you want the session to be currently inactive. |
Specify the following in the “Session Details” multiline.
From Time |
The starting time of a particular time type. |
To Time |
The ending time of a particular time type. |
Time Type |
From the drop-down list box, select whether the specified time range is “Working Time” or “Break Time”. |
Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the course. |
The system calculates and displays the following based on the entries in the “Session Details” multiline.
Total Session Time |
The total session time is the difference between the time entered in the last row of the “To Time” column and the time entered in the first row of the “From Time” column including the “Break Time”. |
Total Break Time |
The total break time is the sum of all the hours entered as “Break Time”. |
Net Session Time |
The net session time for a training program is the difference between the total session time and total break time. |
Select the book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.
You can view, modify or delete the content.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
The system saves the details that you entered.
