Use this page to uniquely identify a rota plan.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user. More Details.

Scheduling Unit

Select the organization unit in which you must create the rota plan. Tell me more.

Employment Unit

The name of the organization unit for which the rota plan will be applicable. Tell me more.

To define the rota plan

Rota Plan Code

A unique code to identify the rota plan.

Rota Plan   

A description of the rota plan.

To define holiday details

Holiday Master Code

Enter the code of a holiday master, to include the holidays contained in this holiday master in the schedule of the employees who will be mapped to the rota plan.

Schedule Shift on Holidays

Indicate whether the shifts must be scheduled on the holidays contained in the Holiday Master, by choosing “Yes” or “No” from the drop-down list box. 

To define the shifts under the rota plan

4      Enter the following in the “Rota Plan Details” multiline.

Shift Code

The code of each shift of which the rota plan must constitute.

 

The shift must have been defined already, through the “Create Shift Master” activity.

Shift

The description of the shift.

Start Time

The time at which the shift starts. 

End Time          

The time at which shift ends.

 

Note that if the shift start time is greater than the shift end time, it is because the end time of the shift crosses over to the next day. For example, the shift could be from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
