4 The “View Security Group Permissions” page appears.
4 The system displays the following detail at the top of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
4 Specify the following details.
Security Group |
The description of the security group to which the permission are to be set. |
4 Specify the following detail.
Permissions To |
Indicate if the type of permissions that should be set for the selected security group. You can set permissions to view, edit etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
4 You can view the following details of the security group permissions.
Rule |
The description of the rule based on which access permissions were granted to the selected security group. |
4 Select the “View Rule” hyperlink beside.
4 The system displays the “Stored Procedure Details” page which you can use view the details of the rule based on which permission were given to the group.
4 You can view the following details.
All Employees |
“Yes” indicates that the users of the group have permissions for all employees in the specified category. “No” indicates otherwise. |
All Reporting Employees |
“Yes” indicates that the users of the group have permissions for all reporting employees in the specified category. “No” indicates otherwise. |
Level of Span of Control |
The level in the hierarchy till which the permissions are given. |
Exclude Self |
“Yes” indicates that the users of the group have been excluded from permission to their own details “No” indicates otherwise. |
4 You can view the values for the specified combination of details in the “Group Permissions” multiline.
Employment Unit |
The description of the employment unit for which access permissions are set for the security group. |
Department |
The description of the department for which permissions have been given to the users of the group. If the system parameter 'Organization structure based on department hierarchy' is set to 'Yes', display the columns Hierarchy code and chain number in the grid. |
Hierarchy Code |
The hierarchy code of the primary hierarchy to which the department belongs |
Chain No. |
The chain number in the hierarchy which is being selected |
Job Title |
The title of the job for which permissions were given. |
Job Level From |
The code of the job level from which, the employee assignment records should be fetched. |
Job Level To |
The code of the job level till which, the employee assignment records should be fetched. |
Grade Set |
The description of the grade set for which permissions were given to the users of the group. |
Grade |
The description of the grade for which permissions were given to the users of the group. |
Work Location Code |
The description of the work location for which permission were given to users of the group. |
Business Unit |
The description of the business unit for which permission were given to users of the group. |
Include |
Indicates if the users have access permissions to the employee set defined by the corresponding multiline row. |

“Yes”, indicates that the user have permissions for all the employee assignment records that satisfy the criteria specified in the corresponding row. |

“No”, Indicates otherwise. |
Comments |
Any additional comments specified pertaining to the details. |
4 Select the “Book” icon beside the comments field
4 The system displays a dialog box in which you can view the comments.
4 Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to close the dialog box.
