Selecting a payset for viewing
Select “View Payset ” hyperlink from the left pane
The “Select Payset to View ” page appears.
The system displays the following field.

Select a payset definition unit from the “Payroll Definition Unit” drop-down list box. All the payrolls that have been mapped with the selected payroll definition unit are listed in the drop-down list box.
From the "Payroll Description" drop-down list box, select the payroll to which the payset is mapped.
From the “Language” drop-down list box, select the language in which the payset record must be displayed. By default the system displays the language in which you have logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity.
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the payset code or the payset description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the payrset code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Payset Code |
To view all payset codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these payset codes. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PCC1*, will search for those payset codes that start with PCC1. Other examples are *PCC1, PC*C1, PCC1* and PCC1*. | |
Payset Short Description |
To view payset short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these short descriptions. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PCD1*, will search for those payset descriptions that start with PCD1. |
Payset Long Description |
To view payset long descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these long descriptions. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The system will display all the records satisfying the search criteria.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected payset definition unit.
To select a record, click the check box beside the record.
Select the “View Payset” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.

Select the hyperlinked payset description in the multiline.
To view the organization unit mapping of the selected payset record, select the “Org. Unit Mapping" link. The "Org. Unit Mapping" page appears.
