Selecting a payset
Select "Map Payset - Pay Element" from the left pane.
The "Select Payset For Payset – Pay Element Mapping" page appears.
The system displays the following field.

From the “Payroll Definition Unit” select the payroll definition unit in which you must map a payset to an element. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have the permission to map the payset and pay elements.
The list all the payrolls that are mapped with the selected payroll definition unit will get listed in the “Payroll Description” list box.
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the payset code or the payset description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the payset code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter / Select the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.

To view all the payset codes containing specific characters, enter the starting characters of a payset. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. For example if you enter the characters HO0*, the system displays all the payset records whose payset codes start with HO0. Other examples are H*0 and *00* | |
Payset Short Description |
To view payset records whose descriptions contain specific characters, type in the starting letter/s of these characters or any combination with wild cards. For example, if “HO0” is searched for, the system displays all the payset record descriptions starting with or containing the characters “HO”. |
Payset Long Description |
To view payset records whose descriptions contain specific characters, type in the starting letter/s of these characters or any combination with wild cards. For example, if “EXEC” is searched for, the system displays all the payset record descriptions starting with or containing the characters “EXEC”. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
A list of payset records satisfying the search criteria will be displayed.
Note: If only one
search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that
satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the payset records
that are applicable to the selected payset definition unit.
To select a record, click the check box beside the record.
To map pay elements to the selected payset record, select “Payset- Pay Element Mapping” hyperlink in the page.
The “Map Payset – Pay Element” page appears.
