Recording appraisal objectives

Select “Record Appraisal Objectives” from the left pane.

The “Record Appraisal Objectives” page appears.

The system displays the following, at the top right of the page.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

Tell me more.

Specify the following.

Appraisal Setup Unit

The drop-down list box displays the set of organization units in which the Appraisal Setup component is deployed Tell me more.

From the “Appraisal Setup Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit, where the appraisal template has been defined.

Employment Setup Unit

From the “Employment Unit” drop-down list, select the organization unit that interacts with the Appraisal Setup Unit to record the appraisal objectives. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component.

To uniquely identify appraisal objectives

Enter the following in the multiline.

Objective Group	From the drop-down list box, select the objective group from which you require to import objectives. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in quick codes. The system displays "Select" by default on launch of the page.
Objective Type	From the drop-down list box, select the type of an objective from which you require to import objectives. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in quick codes. The system displays "Select" by default on launch of the page.
Appraisal Objective Code	A unique code to identify each objective.
Objective Description	A brief description of the objective.
Objective Detailed Description	A detailed description of the objective.
Inactive	Check the “Inactive” list box, to indicate that the objective will not be available for use. Uncheck the “Inactive” list box, to indicate that the objective will be available for use.

Select the “Save” pushbutton.

To modify appraisal objectives

From the “Appraisal Setup Unit” drop-down list box, choose the organization unit under which the appraisal objective was defined.
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.

The “Objectives” multiline displays all the objectives defined under the appraisal setup unit.

Edit the required details of each appraisal objective.’
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
