Through this activity you can set the parameters that will govern the self appraisal of different groups of employees. Scope. Different groups of employees refer to employees belonging to a specific department, position, grade set, grade, job, etc, or to different combinations of these.

The parameters that you can set for each employee group are as follows:

4      Whether self appraisal is mandatory before appraisal.

Whether the self appraisal ratings will be taken into account when the consolidated rating of the employee is calculated after completion of appraisal. The self appraisal ratings will refer to the weightages that the employee will assign to self, for each objective. See Implication

This activity also serves to identify the groups of employees for whom self appraisal will be applicable. The system will not permit self appraisal for employees who do not belong to the groups specified in this activity.

You can edit the parameter details, provided that no employee has completed his or her self appraisal.
