Applying for leave - multiple entry
Select “Apply for Leave-Multiple Entry” from the left pane of the Leave Administration component.
The “Apply for Leave-Multiple” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter or select the following.
Leave Administration Unit |
The organization unit where the leave administration component has been deployed, to administer leave for all the employees mapped to the interacting employment units. |
Enter the following in the multiline
Employee Code |
The employee code of each employee who wants to apply for leave. Help Available. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee who has applied for leave. This is displayed if you used the Help icon to select the employee code. |
Leave Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of leave that the employee requires. For example, the leave type can be casual leave, privilege leave or sick leave etc. Tell me more. |
Units |
The unit in which the leave type is maintained. It can be either “days” or “hours”. |
Request Date |
Enter the date on which the leave has been requested. |
From Date |
Enter the date from which the employee is going on leave. |
From Time |
The time from which the employee is going on leave. |
From Session |
From the drop-down list box, select the session from which the employee is going on leave. For example, the sessions that are applicable to the organization can be “morning“, “evening“ or “night“. The session may depend on the shifts that have been scheduled for the employee who is going on leave. |
To Date |
The date until which the employee will be on leave. |
To Time |
The time until which the employee is going on leave. |
To Session |
From the drop-down list box, select the session until which the employee will be on leave. |
Date of Holiday Worked |
The compensation off date. |
Leave Reason |
From the drop-down list box, select the reason for which the employee has applied for leave. |
Additional Reason |
Any reason other than what is listed in the drop-down list box. |
Units |
From the drop-down list box, select the unit as either “days” or “hours”. |
Covering Employee |
The employee code of the employee who will take up the responsibilities of the employee who has applied for leave. Help available. |
Supporting Documents Provided |
Check this box, if the employee has provided documents to support the leave. Typically, such documents may be required for a medical leave. Tell me more. |
Supporting Documents |
If the “supporting documents provided” box was checked, enter the names of the supporting documents. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton, to save the document
The system displays the following
Requested Leave Units |
The number of units of leave for which the employee has requested |
Expected Date of Return
|
The date on which the employee is expected to resume back to work after the leave. |
Expected Time of Return
|
The time at which the employee is expected to resume back to work after the leave. |
Pending With
|
The employee codes of the employees who can authorize this leave application. |
Select the "Submit" pushbutton to submit the leave application.
Select “View Leave Application Status” link from the “Apply for Leave – Multiple Entry” page, or
Select the “View Leave Summary” link.
